SARTQ presents the second print party located at 1421 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota, Florida 34236
The event will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Bring $5 per print and something to print on! Articles of clothing, sheets, bags, almost anything can get printed by one of the SARTQ Artists with the images of your choice all custom made by the artists themselves.

The first weekend of November will be a very exciting time for me. S/aRt/Q Artist Collective will have our first exhibition downtown Sarasota. Naturally, I have been very busy with artwork and promotional material for this event. My inclusion into the exhibit itself is also work about the group, exhibiting what I do best.

Spring Equinox

Today is March 20, 2009 and it is the Spring Equinox. This happens twice a year. On a day of an equinox, the center of the Sun spends an equal amount of time above and below the horizon at every location on the Earth, night and day being the same length.

Two observers at the same distance north and south of the equator will experience nights of equal length.

Today marks the first day of spring. Maybe this is why I’m having so many allergic complications, I can’t breath! We can depend on the sun being out later giving us more daylight. Today is also celebrated as Mothers Day in Arab nations. Something we should celebrate every day.

Meteoreyes Masks

In the continuation of designing for the band meteoreyes, I have started utilizing things that the band has been consistent with. A main attribute are masks that the lead singer, Shannon Fortner, wears throughout each set. I obviously found these to be extremely interesting and beneficial to the future designs and identity of the band and will incorporate them into the cd cover and other mediums.

I know much credit goes out to Ren for creating these masks. She does a great job with them and we’re always excited to see what she is making next!

What is ‘G Money Pro’?

For over a year, I have been seeing this thing online that advertises a way to make money quick. Every day, I go onto my analytic program and see endless sites that are simply link farms that run Google or Yahoo ads that link to my company’s website, which is pure fraud (which we block). We thought that this program, G Money Pro, was an accomplice in rogue advertisers setting up ways to “get rich quick” off of our internet marketing campaigns. I was wrong.

Steven Holdaway is the one that developed this ‘product’ which is a very clearly defined text book on Google Adwords, and how internet advertising works and the best practices to follow in order to be a successful online advertiser. This is not a special program that gets you running with your feet off the ground, it teaches you how to be part of the world of internet sales and advertising in a ‘to-the-point’ way of setting up and implimenting your Adword account. It also discusses how to become an affiliate to other companies and make money that way. What is an affiliate program?

“Online affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another person’s website and in return the advertiser receives commission for each sale their advertising brings to that website. You are considered an affiliate if you’re advertising for a website that you don’t own, and you are getting paid for each sale your advertising produces.”

I truly feel that this 181 page document is a good thing for people that see the future of online advertising. I view this as a class on Online advertising that anyone can learn at their own pace.
